Graham, I thought you would like to see how our little
venture is progressing with our chalet bought through
Leaseback and completed last year. Le Chatox is in the
heart of Les Bauges mountains above lake Annecy. The
key to the investment was its location in the middle of
Annecy, Albertville and Chambery. A new motorway from
Geneva gets you to our place in under an hour - another
reason why we invested. All this information was
provided by Leaseback and helped us decide to take the
plunge in 2007. The returns now cover 80% of our
mortgage. Le Chatox, as our place has become known, has
taken over our lives and we love it. Its everything we
wanted. We can ski but not be in a ski resort, we can
cycle in some of the best scenery in the world, we can
swim in Europe's cleanest lake and then we can do
nothing and just relax on the terrace balcony of Le
Chatox and watch the ever changing mood of Mt Colombier.
